Lifestyles Design clients are asking...
Why do I need the assistance of an Interior Designer?
Home and office products are large investments. They require accurate measuring, layout and space planning. We at Lifestyles pride ourselves on hand floor plans, as well as CAD drawings. Another point is that Interior Designers have contacts that are only available to them. They also get special pricing that is not opened to the public.
How do I know I will like everything when we are done?
We put many hours in learning to get to know the client and their needs. We show them, take them, or draw for them so by the time we order the client is very clear on what they are getting.
What does a design/build company mean?
Because we are General Contractors as well as Interior Designers, we offer a turn-key operation from concept, to pull permits, design, materials, as well as supervising all our own sub-contractors. Why this sets us apart is that other design firms may not sub out their jobs, and act as a contractor by law. We carry our very own 2million dollar insurance policy and workmen's comp.
How do I know the job will get done on time?
As far as time, nobody can promise an exact day and time, however as much as we possibly can we will come in on time, and hold your hand throughout the whole process.
What about pricing?
After surveying the competition, we know we may not be the least expensive, however we are fair, and certainly not the most expensive.
How do you charge?
We have several different packages. Mostly our clients like a flat design fee, actually based on what their project needs are. This is a one time fee, along with the markup on materials, again based on the materials, and or construction being done. We also have an hourly fee for consults and drawings. We also have a % fee based on the entire budget, generally done for our commercial clients.
